Reset TCP/IP Protocol stack

Sometime you just can’t get on the network / Internet. You re-install your network card drivers, reboot, run virus scans and malware scans but nothing, yet everyone else seems fine.

Try this then.

In the search window type;

cmd

When listed RIGHT click and select “Run as administrator“. This will open up the command prompt in administrator mode.

Now type; netsh int ip reset c:\reset.log

IP Reset

Press Enter.

This will reset your Internet Protocol stack. You may have to rejoin all your networks, etc but it could solve your problem quickly without having to restore or re-install everything or even employ technicians like ourselves!
